Weatherization Services

Energy Savings
The Weatherization Assistance program provides a range of residential
improvement services to reduce energy costs, increase safety and provide
an
increased quality of life for low-income residents of St. Louis City.
Licensed contractors perform and complete authorized work for residents.
The
Weatherization Assistance Program services may include:

installing wall and
ceiling insulation
-
plugging air leaks
with caulking
-
installing weather
stripping
-
dryer venting
-
glazing and
repairing windows and doors
-
performing minor
duct repair
-
completing furnace
repair or replacement
-
hot water tank repair
Eligibility
-
The Urban League provides weatherization assistance
to low income homeowners and tenants residing in St. Louis City.
-
The Urban League emphasizes service to elderly
persons living on a fixed income.
-
There is no cost to
qualified homeowners or renters for weatherization services.
