Jobs for Missouri Graduates (JAG-MO)

 

• Jobs for Missouri Graduates (JAG-MO) is a youth employment and development training program for high school seniors focusing on school to work opportunities with transitional services.

• The program is designed to help high school students reconnect with school, successfully graduate and transition into the workforce.

• The JAG-MO program’s curriculum features 81 competency-based modules and focuses on employment, academic remediation and life skills.

• The Urban League’s JAG-MO program has both out-of-school and in-school components.

• The Jobs for Missouri Graduates program features:

  • Intensive job and career counseling

    • Skills training

    • Leadership activities

  • Work experience opportunities

    • Job development

    • Job placement

  • Follow-up services for a year

• Modeled after Jobs for America’s Graduates, JMG served nearly 500 Missouri students in 2006.
