High School Graduation & Employment
Jobs for Missouri Graduates (JMG) is a nationally-recognized youth employment and development training program for high school students.
The program reaches young people who are at risk for not completing high school or getting a good job or secondary education.
JMG provides high school students with employability skills training, career counseling, leadership training and the academic support. This assistance helps fill student needs to ensure their graduation from high school and to prepare them in making a successful transition from high school to the world of work.
The program curriculum features 81-competency modules and focuses on academic remediation, employment and life skills.
Eligibility
JMG provides employment and development training opportunities to:
Low to moderate income high school students;
In-school youth enrolled in general curriculum and/or with a borderline number of credits for graduation;
Out-of-school youth facing barriers to employment;
Youth in state custody; and
Youth with special needs.
