HUD Housing Counseling
The
HUD-Certified Housing Counseling Program of the Urban League of
Metropolitan St. Louis offers experienced counseling and training.
The program is comprehensive
and experienced in addressing resident’s housing needs in:

understanding the home-buying process
-
finding solutions to missed mortgage or rent payment
-
saving homes from foreclosure
-
preventing eviction
-
learning about options to solve other housing issue
-
learning about options to solve other housing issues.
Eligibility
The Urban League provides HUD certified housing
counseling to:

Low
income residents in the St. Louis metropolitan region interested in
pre- and post-home purchase issues,
-
Homeowners
seeking alternatives to home foreclosure, and
-
Individuals
and/or families who may have experienced unfair or discriminatory
housing practices.
