Business Training Center
Eliminating the Digital Divide

Increasing Computer
Skills & Access
Low-income African
Americans and
others need computer
access and training to counter
the negative effects of the "Digital
Divide".
Computer access and
training helps low-income clients become better prepared for
preferred
employment and/or increased job earnings.
Our Services
The Urban League
Business Training Center provides services at three sites across the
bi-state area. Services include:
-
Testing,
assessment and training in administrative/computer skills;
-
Training
in the AT&T Digital Career Academy, a rigorous program that
includes wireless technologies training, and paves the way for entry
in to the IT field; and
-
Access to and increased familiarity with computers
Eligibility
The
Urban League of Metropolitan
St. Louis provides low-income adults, 18 years of
age or older, who have completed high school or
a GED with
training designed to increase their
computer skills. Participants must be able to type minimally upon
