Utility Assistance

• The Utility Assistance Program assists individual with their utility bills.

• The Utility Assistance Program assists low income seniors, households with children and person with disabilities from St. Louis City and St. Louis County in Missouri and St. Clair County in Illinois.

• Last year the program resulted in the reconnection and/or the prevention of utility shutoffs for more than 1,400 households in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.  

• The Utility Assistance Program is supported through the generosity of:

- Ameren UE Dollar More Program;

- Corporate Dollar More Program;

- Heat-Up St. Louis;

- Cool Down St. Louis;

- Emergency Food & Shelter Program;

- Illinois DHS Homeless Prevention;

- Affordable Housing Trust Fund;

- MO Housing Trust Fund;

- MO Emergency Shelter (MESG); and

- St. Louis County.
